I have a Macbook Pro 2012 15", non-retina. The most intense apps I use are Photoshop and LogMeIn/TeamViewer, besides moderate gaming. I've done quite a bit of research and am looking into 30" displays. I don't want to go for broke, but would like to save money if possible.
Just found an HP LP3065 secondhand, but I must know if anyone has similar hardware/usage, and whether they can confirm that the HP's former issues have been solved. It has been known to have periods of grain and blackout, but this was on older Mac's, and with older Dual-DVI cords.
Also, would you trust this display on a tempered glass desk? I've been told it can support up to 100lbs, and the monitor base is spread out. But I'm still unsure about glass!
