HP M1005 MFP acting weird...

in a practice room or a MacBook.
I'm having issues with an HP M1005 MFP... it's making the program I try to print from crash. I can't find anything that might be doing this. It was happening also with OS 10.4 and now in 10.5.

Anyone experiencing the same issues around here?
