The HP Prime G2 is the ultimate HP RPL/RPN calculator. This calculator is made for HP by Moravia Consulting in the Czech Republic. It is a full-color graphic calculator with apps and a touch screen. The physical machine cost $200 USD. Moravia has developed an Emulator for Apple and Android devices. I have this app loaded on my iPhone and iPad. On the iPhone, it looks just like the physical calculator, and on the Pro Max iPhone, it is about the same size. But on the iPad, the UI is real eye candy. It also has a touch screen. I have personally used HP calculators since 1974. I have in hand the HP-28C, 28S, 18C, 19B II, and the new 16C. I never did use AOS calculators. The HP Prime is going to take getting used to. I was looking at my favorite HP function, the solver menu. The is a nifty function where you can directly enter a formula in it basic form, minus the numbers. A simple example of this is the K=1/2 m v^2, the calculation for kinetic energy. In the solver, you first enter the expression. The solver sets up a menu where you enter the numbers. This is a real time saver if you are doing repetitive calculations. These RPN calculators are also a fantastic educational tool; the calculator trains you on proper mathematical syntax, and if there is an error, you can move back down the stack to see what caused it. Look for it in the App store; there is a free lite version and a $29.98 pro version. Since I have used HP calculators for 50 years, I instantly purchased the pro version.
