Unlike an earlier poster, there is no way I can get my HP C4480 printer to print via Airport. After several hours of deleting pref files I got one computer to see the printer (MacBook Pro), but my second computer (MacBook) can't see it unless it's directly connected via USB. That obviously defeats my hope of connecting two computers via Airport. HP tech support basically gave up, reporting that "We do not support the all in one to a router or a air port only usb direct to the mac. The printer is usb direct to mac only.

The only way you will get it to work on a network is if you get a hp wireless g printer server this will allow you to print and scan on all you computers.
This should resolve the issue."

There are two things wrong with that statement: 1) I got one computer to connect via Airport and 2) HP's web page says that this model cannot utilize the HP wireless printer server."

The reality is that HP doesn't support many Apple products. A call (and there have been many) to HP invariable requires 3 transfers until you finally get to someone who knows Leopard or Tiger, but even then, real help is spotty, at best.

Anyone else had any luck using the C4480 via Airport?
