Hi there. Recently upgraded my system to Leopard:
imac G5
2GB Ram
OSX 10.5.6
Since doing so, my printer (HP 1315Xi) won't work.
I downloaded the HewlettPackardPrinterDrivers.dmg from the apple site (it gave a list of the printers supported in the download - the PSC 1310 series [which includes the 1315Xi] is listed. I installed the package of drivers, then when I use the drop down list of drivers from system preferences; print and fax,
"PSC 1310 Series" isn't included in the list.
Any ideas? Am I missing a step?

You shouldn't need to manually select the driver. Have you removed the printer from the Print & Fax preferences and are trying to re-add it? Does it appear in the browser? If so, when you highlight it doesn't it auto-select the appropriate driver?
 
I was having the same issue and the Apple site says that scanning is no longer supported. Oh well. Off to buy a new printer.
