HP Scanjet Drivers Won't Install Under Leopard

Just wondering if anyone has managed to get their Scanjet drivers working under Leopard? The HP scanning drivers and software package worked perfectly under Tiger, but on the Leopard install it just hangs while copying the files across.

Any ideas on how to get around this problem and get my scanner working again?

HP hasn´t yet released 10.5 drivers for a lot of gear including some of their latest offerings such as office jet pro multi-printers. Via built in osx support you only get basic printing functions, no scanning or faxing. You´ll have to wait...just like lots of dudes with Vista.

Huh?

Are you saying that if I go down to Office Max or Staples and pick up an HP 7460 for instance, I won't be able to install it on my new iMac? Confused and needing some advice, I think.
