Hp scanner and macbook

anyone have git this scanner to work in tiger+macbook?, i bought it in 2003, i was a PC user then, it says it supports OS9.1 and higher, i have tiger 10.4.10 i installed the cd software and when i connect the scanner or press any button it does nothing
i also ran its software update...


is a hp scanjet 3570c

EDIT: it was the power cable, i changed it and it worked!!
to bad is a PPC app, dont you know if there is an intel one? it ran faster in my pentium4 northwood +WinME back then...
