Just wanted to say I'm impressed! I'm getting 13 Mbps down on the HSPA+ here in Fresno, CA. Makes me feel better about not having LTE here yet.
For the record, my old 4s was pulling down 3-5 Mbps at the most from the same "faux g" network. Quite an improvement!!!

Chiming in from Northern Utah, where we don't have AT&T LTE yet, my brother and I are both getting horrid speeds. I'm talking somewhere between Edge and 3G.

My latest speedtest result is 0.29 megabits down, 0.16 megabits up.

It really varies, but HSPA+ is generally quite fast. I routinely pull between 5 and 8 megabits down and 1 to 2 megabits up. Faster off-peak of course. Not LTE speeds but very snappy and more than sufficient.
