HTC One ..........I'm I the only one who hates the Silver version?

With the silver version, I'm just not feeling the front speaker grills on the top and bottom. The speaker grills just irks me. IMO, it just ruins the whole look for me. I also dislike the two tone color of the front.

IMO, if Apple did something like this with the iPhone, many would find the white version extremely disappointing.

Now the black version looks good. Why didn't HTC put this out as the default image?

LOVE the white/silver version. It's the only one I would ever consider.

I love the fact that the speaker grills are so accented. It's what makes the design so aggressive and daring.

Just opinions, of course.

My guess is the white/silver comes across as more premium because you can see the aluminum.
 
I wonder if you put the phone on a table and start typing on the keys, does the phone rock back and forth cause of the curved back?
 
The black version is just... beautiful. I prefer it much more than the silver, which is just too plain.

The One is great but I just can't take that I would have first to wait for 4.2 to get to the real upgrade that will be 5.0.

I would also miss some of the S3 features like multi window.
 
Both look really nice, but the black looks especially sleek and stealthy. It's for the same reasons that I prefer the black iPhone 5 to the white.
 
Both are beautiful really, but It's too hard to judge until you see it in person I would imagine.


But I bought (pre-ordered) the silver as I think it matches my other Apple hardware aesthetically, added to the issues the iPhone 5 black has with color rubbing / wearing off on the chamfered edge.
 
What skin is this phone running? I'm not familiar with all the different android skins, but this one reminds me of WP8 and I like it.
 
in my opinion the silver one is horrible. I didn't even realise there was a black one because all i see is the silver one. The black does look better. But I also haven't seen it in person yet so that might change (what i said about the white one)

Both are gorgeous, in my taste. And I think they primarily show it in silver because you can more easily discern its unique design features on that one.

Yes, because it provides a lot of contrast between the dark and light colors.
 
The black one gets a more generic profile, im thinking of getting a One and probably will be the white/silver.

Over xda ive seen plenty of good reports including battery life.
 
The white version is probably the sexiest phone I've ever seen. I always thought the iPhone 5 was but the white One looks even more amazing. It looks like it could be a COMPLETE redesigned iPhone. I wouldn't be surprised if Apple would have came out with something similar to it.
 
With the constant black and white on the iPhone, I'm jealous of the silver stylings of the One.
