Hi All,

I have an app I am working on that uses a SQLite db for a dictionary and each entry could have an image as a visual reference. In order to manage the images that appear on an entry, I have currently used a URL connection instead of putting the images into the app db.

Obviously, this means that the app will source from our servers, which makes updating them flexible, but will require a connection each display.

Does anyone have experience of this type of reference, good or bad?

Also, does it knock heads with Apple's issue with 'live' apps. [I can't see it, as there are web browser apps on Appstore that do far more.]
