:D By accident I stumbled upon a plugin for Mail in OS X that allows you to access http email services. :D

http://www.automagic-software.com/downloads.php

I installed it an it synchronised all my Hotmail folders with Mail. Changes that you make in Mail (e.g. moving an email to a different folder) will automatically be synchronised back to Hotmail you check for new emails.

If been looking for over a year for such a program. No more Entourage! lol

Just tried it out, and it doesn't work for me. I get 'connection failed'. there's something in the readme about upgrading to hotmail plus. There's no way I'm doing that!
It's been a long and slow process of getting rid of hotmail for me...

I have an Hotmail Plus account ($20/year) since I got mine over a year ago when they only offered 50MB for free accounts. I use it for everything related to my job. And so far I am more than satisfied with Hotmail. You can access the web based service with IE, Safari and Firefox.

I installed the plugin on my Macbook (Leopard) and my MacMini (Tiger) and it is working fine.
