Apps Hue app

Hi, just picked up a Series 4 watch and went through the set up. On the iPhone watch app it shows the Hue app under Available Apps but when I try and install it says it needs an update. All my apps are up to date on my phone and can't see anything on the App Store for the watch.

Is it not available for Watch OS 5.0 or am I missing something?

Correct. I believe app developers for the Watch had a deadline to make WatchKit-native apps by release of OS 5 and apparently they didn’t make it.
