My 2 cents, based on purchasing the following, some of which during this sale:

Dead Space if you are a fan of FPS (violent, gore, scary)
Madden if you are a sports fan
Tetris for a buck? Just wish it had Game Center support for multiplayer
NBA Jam if you are old school arcade sports fan
Mirror's Edge if you liked the console version, or like side-scrollers
Max and the Magic Marker if you liked Crayon Physics, Drawn to Life, or have children in your household, this is a game that although one player, can be played by the entire family.

Is there a point in buying the Scrabble app? Or is Words with Friends (which I have and love) better? The current Scrabble version has a lot of bad reviews.

Both simcity and command and conquer have horrible reviews indicating that the games don't even work..crash repeatedly etc...is ANYONE satisfied with either or is it not even worth it at one dollar bc it simply doesn't work?

Thanks

I found SimCity to be decent entertainment. Was never really a simcity fan, but this one occupied my time for a few hours easily.

Just bought Monopoly and Tetris, but when I try to buy Battleship it says:

This item is temporarily unavailable.

Weird.

I was going to get it, but man it has horrible reviews. But for a buck, why not? I will buy it later. I am sure they'll fix a lot with updates.

Mike

It really does have horrid reviews. And it looks like they've already updated.

I know it's just a buck, but I feel like I'm rewarding them for a ***** game if I give it to them.

Quite a few of these games I've wanted and with the sale, what better time. However the negative reviews just turn me off from wanting to spend even a dollar on them. So far I've settled for Battleship and Reckless Racing, both of which are quite good.

Went ahead and got Snood (used to love the game on my computer), Monopoly (huge fan, even if it has bad reviews, can play with friends and family), and NBA Jam (used to play it all the time when I was younger).

WOW thanks for the heads up. For that price I can afford to finally download some games :D

Snatched Monopoly and Dead Space.

Would anyone like to recommend which Need For Speed to get? Or both? :p

I have C&C and it runs with no issues on my iPad 2. Gameplay wise, it is a bit dumbed down compared to its PC counterpart, but still worth a dollar of entertainment.

I bought these:

Fifa 11
Dead Space
Mirror's Edge
Command Conquer

and planning to buy Need For Speed, too.

:D
