Just got off the phone with FedEx and they told me my iPhone does not require a signature!!! There just going to leave your phone sitting at your door!!

What's your address, so I can drive by :p

Seriously, I think this may be the carrier's fault and not fedex. They may have failed to check off the right box.

Can you put a hold on it, so they can keep it in the distribution center and you pick it up or is it on the truck?

Good luck

When I spoke to AT&T they said they are not requiring signatures.
I ordere through VZW and they do, and as far as I can tell if you ordered through apple they will require signatures

Not sure if I would call this a FAIL.

Just their policy. They (carrier and/or Fedex) are caught between a rock and a hard place, as they say.

Require signature - miss a ton of deliveries and all the crap that comes with that. Hence the standard procedure for residential is not signature

Sounds more like an AT&T fail than a FedEx fail. Apple requires a signature, AT&T should as well. If I were you, I would find a way to be there or have a trusted person there to accept it.

Fedex just delivered mine too and no signature required. I heard a knock at the door, ran to open it and by the time I got there, the guy was already in his truck pulling away and my phone was sitting behind a column near my front door.

Hope others that are not home have a good place for the driver to hide the box until you can get to it!
