I've just used Omni Disk Sweeper and have found 27.6GB of log files located in:

Library » Logs » Console » 501

console.log.1 & console.log.2 are 18.3GB & 9.3GB respectivly!! That can't be right....am I good to delete them? Cheers

Go ahead and delete them...sometimes a runaway process will generate monster log files. It's usually just a one-off occurrence, so you'd be fine deleting them. But if it happens again, it'll be time to dig into them and figure out what's causing the problem.

Thanks for the quick reply.

EDIT - I think the rogue process was Window Server. The other day it was soaking up all my clock cycles & I had to reboot. Hasn't done it since which is good.
