Carlisle, Up Norf!
So if I ever leave my computer on at night (Not that often) when I come to use it again I get a huge hang, which usually doesn't fix its self, and sometimes does when I send the computer to sleep. I think its since the last round of iTunes updates, and as iTunes is always open its possible its that.

I don't have the computer set to goto sleep after its inactive, just to turn the monitor off, any ideas why?

I have repaired permissions, but thats all, and I'm still getting it.

Well try the obvious thing and quit iTunes and see if it changes the behaviour. I can't imagine it would be that. Do it one app at a time though to narrow it down.

Is there any chance a mounted network/drive has become unavailable? That makes OSX crap itself every time.

Nah, not the network drive, not connected to anything. I'll leave it on 2nite with iTunes exited, and see what happens.

It's a strange one, its happened more times than it hasn't, but it doesn't happen everytime. *Shrugs*

Disc is ok, at least it seems to think it is.
