So, I'm doing a trial on Hulu Plus.

Are the ads there just for the trial, or is it that I will actually pay to see ads if I subscribe?

Ads are still there no matter what. Sucks, I know. If you watch movies from the criterion collection there are no ads though.

Yeah, but all that does is let you sit at a black screen, saying ads are not supported for the time of the commercial. I usually just walk away and take a quick break when commercials pop up now - you can always skip back to whatever you missed.

True. There's no way to just get rid of them entirely and move on with your actual viewing.

Yeah, I've tried that - I'd honestly rather watch the ads than that black screen.

It gets annoying when you are watching a show/movie on Hulu and the same ads keep coming up every couple of minutes.

Or the stupid Toyota commercial with the couple who clearly know nothing about cars "grounded to the ground".....

I've noticed an increase in ads once my trial period ended. When I was in 'trial' mode the ads were minimal and almost non existent. Once that ended about 90% of shows I select have ads.

I'm cancelling Hulu Plus. I'm paying for commercial free television and have no patience with people trying to sell me crap.

i know this treads a little dead.. but does anyone else have ridiculous buffering? On my iphone hulu is buffering every minute or so as well as its pixelated.. I did a speed test.. 15mbps down..Netflix loads just fine.. in HD.
