Hulu Plus App With Poor Video Quality.

I recently subscribed to Hulu Plus and love it, however on the iPad app I am forced to watch videos at the quality level that Hulu deems appropriate for my Internet connection quality. On my computer (using the same wifi) I can watch videos in HD just fine...when I watch through my iPad I get such poor quality that I can barely make out the faces on the screen. Is there a way to default to a certain quality on the iPad app?! Or another way to watch Hulu videos in HD on my iPad?

Any help is appreciated!
