I have an iPad air, and it is great. I am normally good with identifying problems and fixing them but I'm not too sure about this one. Whenever my iPad is on charge and I have my earphones plugged in (I have tried it with many) I hear a low pitched buzzing/humming noise, which can get annoying if I am trying to listen to something. Interestingly the buzzing stops when I touch the aluminium casing, so I am assuming that it is an electrical issue if it is an issue at all. Many thanks

Not to sure whats going on here take it to apple they will just hand you a new one.

The hum stops when you unplug from the charger, correct?
Are you using Apple's charger, or something else?

Could be a bad charger, or even a bad cable from the charger to you iPad.
But, yes, take in to Apple, they will sort it out.

I am using the 12w charger that came with the ipad and I will contact apple to see if it is an issue,
Thanks :)

I experience a similar humming sound when I plug my Aux and Charger at the same time. Let us know what you find out! Gotta take mine in too!
