Humming under Keyboard

I would like to gain input from others that have experienced humming or a new noise coming from their New Mac book Pro. My daughter ran the machine into the Apple Store and was given a long speech regarding how they are made different and different sounds occur after time. Earlier machines had a problem they told her new ones do not. In her law school, she stated it is loud enough for others to look at her and the machine. The problem began a 6 weeks after it was purchased

Any ideas of what you would do? Thank you for your input or ideas!
