Londoners came out to today to show their disgust at China's human rights violations. Thousands of protesters waving Tibetan flags and shouting "Shame on China" lined the route to disrupt the Olympic flame relay. It suceeded! Despite the efforts of both Chinese officials and scores of uniformed police protesters successfully disrupted the event on two occasions - once with a fire extinguisher and another when a man was able to grab the torch before being dragged away. Hopefully this has caused much embarrassment to the Chinese government and is a sign of solidarity to the Tibetans and all repressed. Shame on China! Shame! http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/7332942.stm:o

This is clearly a political thread; if I move it to PRSI, the OP will not be able to post it in it anymore. So I'm closing it. Any PRSI eligible members (see the rules) may create a thread on the same topic.
