I am sitting in the middle of Hurricane Ike on the northwest side of Houston. I lost power two hours ago, so I my generator is going. Power now is somewhat back on though ATT home internet is gone.

Started my NetShare app up and now I have the latest weather right on my local ABC stations website. IT'S ALL I HAVE! I told myself that I would only use this application in an emergency. I think my current situation fits into that category.

Anyone know how to get passed the proxy/firewall so I can stream live video of my ABC stations broadcast?

Just thought someone that appreciate what they are doing for me right now and for the next 12 hours.

I gotta ask, i see it all over what is netshare, its not in the app store but their website says it is, itunes says its not available in the US

It allows you to "tether" your iPhone's 3G/Edge connection to your computer.

Apple removed it from the app store after a few days of being available.
