Oh my gosh I got up this morning and my husband accidentally sat on my retina macbook 15" for just a slight 3 seconds until he realized that it didn't feel right! Silly me I left a small pillow / cushion on it because my gigantic great dane love to rest her head on it, it is her way of protesting that I am on the computer way too much!

Anyways, nothing is wrong, seems the screen is a little clearer and brighter even, maybe just my imagination or shock, but I suggested he sit on my 17"mbp as it has more surface area. For a good chuckle.

I guess I got the 'accidentally sitting on a macbook' test out of the way, it is safe to sit on my macbooks (as long as there is a good cushion / pillow already on it).

Lots of LOVE to all.

It takes a lot to crack it.

A lot! We're thin - trim people so we can with peddle biker's butts.

But is Safari snappier? :D

Glad to hear yours is okay. Not going to try this at home....

I wonder if people sit and fart on their rMBP's it will get rid of image retention. Vibrations might do something...

I've stepped on mine. I think it can handle being sat on especially with a pillow on top.
