iPod touch Hybrid View not Working?

With the January Software Update, I have a button for the hybrid view in maps, but its no different from satellite view. What gives??

As you should know, the hybrid view takes a satellite map and overlays it with a street map showing roads. If your zoomed out a great deal or zoomed into a forest with no roads etc... then you wont see any change I don't think.

Yes, I know what the hybrid view is.
But even being over downtown San Francisco and zoomed in quite a bit, there aren't any streets or highways to be seen, just like the regular sattelite view.

As we speak I am restoring my iPod to try to get hybrid view.
Has anyone had this same problem? Who has the hybrid view working?

EDIT: Ok, well it appears other people are having the same problem. It looks like just a Google server problem.
