iPhone 12 I accidentally removed my iPhone 12 with the SIM card still in it...

It was an unlocked model. i’m not worried since i got a new one with my T-mobile 12PM, but am concerned if it could affect the return or have any sensitive data on it? i’m using a new sim card right now and that one is deactivated

All will be good. And wherever you returned it to could care less about the card. They will remove it and throw it in the trash.
