I own the last generation 17" MBP. 8 months old. Works fine. Scratched up a bit on the lid...

Yet...

Just bought the new 17" MBP. The concept of 30% more pixels and effectively having a mobile 23" screen with me was just too much. (Although I am concerned about eye strain. Time will tell.)

Plus, being a speed junkie, the better GPU and upgrade to 4 gigs of memory was just too much.

I should see an Apple Therapist...
