Hey all, i thought i would share this with you.

Adaware and Spybot will find thousands of cookies - cookies your Mac will also have given the same browsing pattern. It considers them malicious, when frankly, they're not.

Yes - PC's can get Virii. There are also simple, free, easy steps to take to ensure that they don't. That's what I've done with the neighbours kids two laptops - and they're yet to have a problem after 18 months of use.

If you're going and cleaning a laptop every month and finding it full of rubbish - the problem is failing to use preventative measures. The only reason I can imagine someone failing to take those measures is either ignorance or malicious intent.

Lets just say " inappropriate webpages were viewed! "

I've seen some messy computers but I spent a year without AVG and never had a virus. Just don't go downloading toolbars, know your torrents, etc.

I gotta tell you about a guy from work, about 4 or 5 years ago. He was a salesguy who had a company laptop. He worked on the road and at his home, he only came into the office once in a while.

He was bellyaching to our PC support guy that his laptop was running slowing, sometimes crashing, etc. So he came in with the laptop. Our tech starting working on it, then started laughing like crazy. He couldn't stop laughing, and it got contagious. We all huddled around to see what was going on.

The virus scan found a bunch of bad stuff. The hard drive was almost completely full. The tech guy found that other than Windows XP, the rest of the hard drive was porn, except for the viruses! :p

To top it off, there was a folder with hundreds of pics of XXX porn with him and his 'aquaintences' in it! We just could NOT stop laughing!
