i am in need of help cleaning my apps folder

I am trying to set my G4 up to be a bit easier on the kids.
this box has a few apps that i have no idea what they are.

Well in my messing around with the dock and mounting the apps folder in it, i found a view format i like. But i see a few folders inside the Apps folder and question if they should be there. Should they be moved? And if you see an app i should do away with let me know.
