Previously, I was given an iPhone 3G under my uncle's plan. My parents and I, obviously being modest, returned it to him. I currently am in possession of a Sony Ericson K850i.

This plan is however, with Rogers, supported by my aunt, who works at Rogers in Canada. You see, when my grandfather passed, it was around 40 days after the plan had started. The maximum amount of days is 30. Even with the situation, Rogers declined to cancel the plan and the phone still has to be payed for. Make some good use, right?

However, I am in great interest of an iPhone 3G, or more specific, the iPhone 3GS. So, I have some questions:

My parents have a plan under Fido. Is it possible for me to enter this plan and get the iPhone, since Rogers bought Fido?

Can I upgrade the Sony K850i to an iPhone 3G/3GS? How much would this possibly cost? The plan started in December 08/early January 09 - I forget.

What is a suitable amount for a data plan? 1GB? What goes into my data plan?

How much is a #MB/1GB/2GB data plan? What do you recommend for size?

Thank you, kindly.
