iPod touch I am looking for a restore tool for my old itouch 1st

I want to restore my old ipod touch to ios 1.1, 2 and 3 to make some videos. I can't restore it with itunes cause it messes with all apple stuff, redsn0w can't accepts firmwares older than 4.0. I just want to restore the ipod and I think it should be pretty easy since there is no shsh thing on 1st ipod.

I was looking for this too a few weeks back but gave up after a somewhat extensive search and coming up empty.

The little I gleamed made me realize there would be a need for a couple of older iTunes versions and some other "FunBox" mods, but honestly- it seemed like so much work with catch can progress I sort of gave up my quest.
