iPod touch I Am Lost! Please Help (not Like, Lost Without Gps But With My Itouch)

I still don't know weather to Jailbreak my iTouch with Red Sn0w.

1) Can my iTouch bust like never turn on ever again?

2)Is it worth it to Jailbreak?

3)I have an instructional guide video on, but I'm scared.

4)Has anybody used RedSn0w before?

5)If Yes to 4, did you have ANY PROBLEMS.

Ok, so please, PEOPLE HELP ME. I AM SCARED. I have RedSn0w downloaded, I have everything set up by these 2 videos;

I don't suggest using redsn0w, until it's full version is released. This method is complicated for the average user, and there are many things that can go wrong.

There is a semi-tethered version of redsn0w out, maybe you should better try that.
I've never had a problem with jailbreaking my iPod, but once LogoMe won me and killed my iPod and it didn't want to turn on! I thought it permanently died, but the simple steps were to force it to DFU mode and click restore. It's live and kicking now

You shouldn't jailbreak your iPod touch until Redsn0w officially comes out, without the tether method if you're getting depressed about it. Also, go see a doctor. If you're that lost about it, then something tells me that you shouldn't even attempt this until Redsn0w is out and tested. If all you want is themes, then it really shouldn't matter to you.

It means you have to be connected (that is, tethered) to a computer in order to reboot your ipod.

Do you have to be connected at ALL times? Or just to turn it on?
