I am new to Mac. I deleted the applications folder

Hi,

I'm new to using a Macbook Pro and it has iOS 10.9.2 (Mavericks) installed. I accidentally deleted the applications folder for the side panel in finder. I cannot find it in order to drag it back. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. Open a Finder window.
2. Press Command + , (i.e. press command and comma) to open the Finder preferences.
3. Click on "Sidebar".
4. Check the Applications checkbox.

You can also drag it back to the sidebar as well.
