I am now a proud 2015 Macbook Pro w/retina 13" owner!

Typing this from it now. I sold my Macbook Air yesterday to buy this because the screen always bugged me. I am not sure how I feel about the additional weight but I felt like this was more bang for your buck over the new macbook and I wanted the bigger screen. Has anyone else recently made the switch? What do you think so far? I am still trying to figure out this force touch thing. I don't understand it well yet lol.

I made the switch one month ago I love it. I don't mind the extra half pound. The screen is amazing.

I just picked up a 2015 13" rMBP last weekend. I've never owned a MBA, but it's a nice upgrade from the 2009 MBP I had until two years ago.

There's just no comparing when it comes to the screen. The retina blows away the MBA's pixelated mess of a screen.

This computer is ridiculous fast. I thought my 2014 base 13" air was fast, but this is even noticeably faster. I'm not sure if it's the 8gb or ram vs the 4 or the faster processor.

Probably a combination of things. The 2015 rMBP has a faster SSD and GPU as well.

How much did you sell yours for I want to make the same move to expirence retina with force touch track pad I have a brand new sealed MBA 2015 4gb ram 128 GB SSD got it as a gift but I already own one just like it so figured I would sell this one

I only got $675 out of my 13" Air. I probably could have gotten more had I sold it online, but I sold it to a friend.

I just upgraded from a mid 2012 MBP to a mid 2014 rMBP and I love it so much!! The screen and performance is phenomenal, couldn't be happier!

offtopic, may i know if it's expensive to get a replacement motherboard (2009 MacBook unibody) for $220 with 3 months warranty?
