Trying to get iPad 2, but my local best buys are not taking pre-orders and I don't think ordering apple.com is a good idea with 3-4 weeks back order.

I also have about 400 dollars best buy gift card that I would like to spend...

Does anyone know when best buy will get the shipment or even what time?

What would be the best time to call them and find out??? Please and I appreciate your help. Thanks.

Every BB gets deliveries at different times. Call the BB you shop at and ask them what the best time too call is. Also you can check the store inventory online @ the BB site.

NO ONE KNOWS THE EXACT TIMES OF ANYTHING APPLE DELIVERY RELATED.

Every answer is a guess/heresay.

If you INSIST on asking what time XYZ will happen, at least indicate where you are. There is no point in asking what time iPads will be delivered (in Hawaii) and getting answers from Cleveland.

Unfortunately, it is hard to tell. Since you didn't get it in time, you just need to keep calling. UPS schedule does vary slightly, so does FEDEX. People could beat you so just keep trying.

I would just call Best Buy every 30 minutes to see if they got a shipment. If you annoy them enough, they will allow reservations.

Doesn't best buy have an option on their website to check store stock for an item they have for sale? Not sure if they rolled it out for the iPad 2 yet.

yeah...but the ability to play games; surf the net, play music, edit spreadsheets and the like were there before the ipad. The ipad is awesome, but so what if you need to wait a little while.
