I am setting up a recording studio and need help.

I have a G5 PowerMac Dual 2.5 and a Martin John Mayer accoustic-electric guitar and a Shure SM58 mic

I will be recording the guitar along with vocals and Keyboard controller and eventually Audio/Vidio DVD recording.

I read somewhere that accoustic-electrics do not record well.

Here is what I am looking at.

An M-Audio 61 keyboard controller ( about $200 ) and a M-Audio Preamp audio interface ( about $150 ) and a Shure SM57 mic ( about $80 )

I am low on money and would like to get my GarageBand studio going.

I am focused but kind of lost right now, any help would be most appreciated, Thanks, Tom
