My body only lets me eat protein and maybe veggies once or twice a week. Meat eggs cheese a few nuts thats pretty much my diet almost every day no seasonings or spices. I just spent 120.00 on meat and it is only al little over 1 weeks worth if it was all I ate. I cant handle cheap meat since I have to eat it so plain. I cant extend meat and my body wont let me experiment much with other meats like salami and such like it used too. I am stuck with one brand of bacon I have been eating 25 years I eat 3.5 pounds of it a week and about 2.5 pounds of cheese and maybe 7 pounds of meat. I hate having to spend so much on food it eats into my budget and its not like I really even enjoy eating like this. but it is what it is no matter what I like and it is not changing any time soon.

I am lucky I don't shop at the big chains and that helps. but I am so limited on what I can eat that if there are shortages I may be in serious trouble. I cant change what I eat no matter how much I want too. I hate how much I have to spend on food I don't really even enjoy eating anymore. But luckily I can hop on my bike and check around. if I buy more meat I will need a place to freeze it we only have a regular freezer with very little in it till now.

Costco has some cheap frozen grass fed beef if that's of any help. It was something like $3.75 Lbs

Have you considered a large chest freezer? You can get whole or half a free range cow for a much lower per lb price than the store. Sometimes less than the cheap factory farm beef. At least the last I checked it was so.

cosco is crazy right now. I can get ground beef 86% lean ( a bit leaner then I want) for 4.50 at my local butcher. When I get paid I may do that. not a large freezer but still something. I usually buy my meat fresh ever other day I usually only buy meat that is fairly quick cooking since I don't care that much for re heated plain meat since I cant add anything too it. I don't even eat chicken that much because it takes too long to cook at night and I don't have the time usually. though right now I do.
since all my meat is plain I have gotten picky with what I eat. not really by choice but just because i am so limited. I have to cook two meals for each meal one for my wife one for mine and that makes things limited too. I have bacon and eggs every breakfast and maybe a little more protein like some country ham (very expensive) or a few limited sausages I can handle once in awhile some kind of meat and cheese for lunch a snack of jerky or pork rights or a couple ounces of nuts and for dinner about 1/2 pound of hamburger or pork belly or some other plain mean thats 6 days a week. some carefully selected Chinese food at a restaurant that lets us custom order and thats about it for my variety.
