I am trying to use transmission and port is closed...

But when I went into the firewall the app is set to allow incoming connections.

So why is the port showing up as closed if it is set to allow incoming connections in the firewall?

Maybe your ISP has closed it. There are other ports you can try though.

If you are using a router, then check the port setting on the router. You may need to forward the port traffic from the router to your system.
