I believe the 17 will be back soon

As with so many others, I have been wishing the 17in would come back for years. Recently I read an article that makes me believe we will see one within a year. The key phrase here is "Xeon laptop chips". Intel announced that they have the first Xeon laptop chip getting ready for deployment. I really think Apple may try to rebrand the 17in MBP as a mobile work station. I may be dreaming, but this dream feels real.

It won't happen, at least not with a Xeon. That would mean thick computer because of cooling requirements, and Apple doesn't like that.
