Has anyone else with an RM serial number G3 i-book, had the exact logic board/video problems specified on the apple site, but been refused or indeed allowed the extended warranty on a non UV serial number machine. I have an RM serial number machine, and although the problems I have encountered are the exact textbook problems, that has been happening to countless other i-books, I have been told that I will not be covered by the warranty. I am not very happy!!!
Apparently the warranty was introduced after pressure from the american public after many machines went down. Am I to suspect that the UV serial machines are the american sold product, and it is just a cop out by Apple, for other countries with less consumer clout who are experiencing exactly the same logic boards failures
PC's are looking more and more inviting!!
