I'M PRETTY SURE IT WAS A 14 DAY RETURN.. IT LOOKS AND RUNS LIKE NEW.

I'm just curious if saving 58 dollars an iMac is worth it since it only has version 10.6.7 installed, which tells me it may be older than one having lion installed or older than even a later version of snow leopard (it goes up to 10.6.9).

In other words my question is do computers wear without being used?

(because i know i can just go back and get it updated to Lion free, just get the cd i'm guessing)

And it's like new honestly--the computer, not one mark.

$58 dollar difference between an open box unit (especially if used) and a brand new unit doesn't sound fair.

Should be eligible for free Lion upgrade program.

Go back/call? explain and see if you can get some more off?

There is no CD/DVD version of Lion. If you want to upgrade you will need to download it from the App store.

I agree saving $58 on an open box is not worth it.

I think you can save more money buying a refurb mac from apple. They're generally marked down about 13%, sometimes more, sometimes less.

58 bucks is not enough of a savings for me to buy a "used" mac, i.e., it was opened and used by someone.

I would agree that is a better option.
