Do the following:

Unplug the Touch and restart your computer- then
open itunes
-plug ipod into computer
-hold both sleep/wake and home button until ipod restarts.
-let go of of the sleep/wake button when you see apple logo.
-hold home button until itunes pops up with recovery mode
-click yes, and your ipod with be restored to its factory settings.

The only solution I got is plug iPod into computer then hold home and sleep button for 25-30seconds just count to thirty be patient and until the connect to iTunes sign pops up (basically a force restore) if that doesn't work I would say its totalled. sorry man

There's no possible way you can brick your iPod, do what dagored suggested.
1. Plug your iPod into the computer and start iTunes.
2. Press and hold sleep and home button on the iPod until it resets.
3. As soon as you see the Apple logo, let go of the sleep button but continue holding the home button.
4. After a few seconds, the Apple logo should change.
5. Restore with iTunes.

i was scared last nightt phewww
