Ok, So I'm not a Mac guru!:D

That being said I am trying to figure out why my i cal Dock icon is different than it should be. It has no white page just a black number laying there in the dock which is really annoying. Oh yeah, it does show the month also in small white letters above the date however it should look like a white book page as well . I am running Leopard not Snow Leopard, any helpful suggestions will be appreciated as I would like to have the standard icon working in the dock.

Rather than trying to figure out why it's "broken" why not try to fix it? What have you tried? Which icon is it, the Application waiting to be opened, or the active window that is Docked? If the former, have you tried "poofing" it and dragging the App icon back to the Dock?

I cal Problems

Yes I have removed the icon from the dock and replaced it with a new one. However the new icon looks like the old one which is not right.

Well, what else have you tried?

com.apple.dock.plist replacement?
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dock.plist
Move to the Desktop.
Click on the Dock, then the Desktop, then the Dock.

Have you tried anything else?
