i can actually hear my fan?

whenever i use my macbook (black) it would never be able to actually hear my fan, but when i started to download this adobe update thing, the fan suddgenly started, is that good or bad? i mean its been almost for an hour or so............ any suggestions?

the fan comes on when your computer starts to work more. If you run the visualiser in iTunes, you will hear your fans even more. It is normal
