I cannot restart my mac or do anything.

Hi,

I am a new mac user i have the new alu macbook. When i was doing the latest software update i had to restart. When it restarted my mac everything was fine until I got to the Apple Logo screen. Now its frozen there. I found out how to restart. But that didnt work. I tried searching on MR i cant seem to find anything about it. Im using my pc right now.

Did you restart while the update was in progress?

The computer restarted automaticly. After it asks you if you want to restart now or later.

So you are saying that the update was completed, then you restarted?

Everyone thanks for the help. We can close this thread now. The problem was fixed by holding the power button for 1 minute thanks.
