I can't change my wallpaper

Whenever I go into the change your wallpaper and screensaver tool, I can change my screensaver, but I cannot change my wallpaper. I click any folder, or any wallpaper and the tool closes and I see this:

It's been like this since I got my iMac a month or so ago.

Download this software. I would try running a permissions repair, then run the "Verify Preferences" tool.


Edit- Since you say its a new iMac, have you ran the software updater at all?

I tried that tool, it didn't work.

I run the software updater regularly.

Does anyone know what's wrong?
