I can't delete photos, notes, call log.

I cannot delete anything from my iphone 2g. When I press the delete button to confirm (red button) from safari, notes, messages or call log nothing happens. I pressed and appears to be disabled. I restored the phone and the problem continues. Can I activate it by changing some file via ssh?
