for example if i go to macupdate and try to download limewire all i get is a blank screen once i click download.that happens with everything i try to download.im useing firefox as my internet browser.i've tried deleteing my profile,making a new profile,clearing my private data but nothing works.i cant use another browser because firefox is the only one i have and i cant download another one like internet explorer because i get the blank screen once i click download.please help

1) Safari is installed by default, so if you don't have it, you deleted it.
2) Try repairing permissions, that may solve your problem.
3) Restart, make sure it isn't a learned problem that can be cleared by restarting.
