I am having some technical difficulty. My mac running tiger decided to freeze up on me. I pressed the power button for 8 seconds thinking it would just restart. When it came back up, the question mark in the folder was on the screen, meaning it cant find the OSX disk with the software. I went in and did a "disk repair" but it couldn't repair the disk, so I reinstalled tiger. I had a whole bunch of music, video, and other files on this computer that I really need. It says that there is still 100gigs being used, so I know they are still there, but I cant access them. I have tried everything in normal means. I am pretty good with computers, studying for my A+ certification, but I have no clue why I cant see my music files. They wont show up in finder, but I KNOW they are there because the disk space is still being used up. Anyone got a good reason, or answer as to why I cant get to my files? I have looked through everything in the "My Computer" drive on my macbook, and I can only find about 20gigs being used, which makes sence because I was using about 80 before I had to reinstall the system. Please help me out
