iPod touch I can't get 12 Hour clock time on my touch!

A super quick question!

I can't get my touch to give me the time in 12 hour clock, so it says PM and AM instead of 23.11 etc

I have tried changing the time in settings but it doesnt work - AM/PM never appears even when I turn OFF the 24 hour clock setting!

Its really annoying! so anyone with an idea how to fix it please let me know! thanks!

I figured it out and its SUPER STUPID APPLE BUG #2 I found

Apparently those of us in Europe do not use AM or PM in our time zones!

When I changed the "international" region settings to the USA as if by magic AM/PM appeared on the clock! its amazing!

(by the way the first bug I found was if you have the touch on shuffle and plug it into an Alpine iPod headunit it will NOT allow you to chose any other functions including playlists, albums, artists and it will mess up the order of your songs on the head unit! simply turning shuffle off fixes the problem!)
