Hello there. This has really been racking my brains, so I have decided to post my issue on here.

I'm trying to save all of my photos from my iPhone on to my Mac. I've tried doing it through iPhoto, Dropbox & Image Capture but all of the programs say there's only 65 photos to import when I have roughly 1,200. Can anyone give me a hand?

I have an iPhone 6 and iOS 9.1.

Many thanks, Aaron

Hmm, under Settings > Photos & Camera do you have"iCloud photo library" on? If so do you have "optimize iPhone storage" or "download and keep originals" checked?

I just looked and I do have 'iCloud Photo Library' on, and I do have 'Optimise iPhone Storage' checked, but I don't have 'Download and keep originals' checked.

I've run into issues where I might have say 1000 photos but technically on my phone only have 100 because the rest are in the cloud. This causes issues with some apps, especially on cellular if that is turned off.

Are you using iPhotos or Photos on your Mac? If you turn on iCloud Photo Library on on the Mac then you shouldn't need to do anything. All your photos should just be there.

Thanks for the help guys.

I have resolved the issue simply by updating my Macs OS, something I refrained from doing to prevent my Mac slowing down. Once I did that Photos imported all of my images.

Thank you!
